Our Team
Paul Wishart LLB(Hons)
Director of Broking and Founder
Paul has many years of experience working in the London Market, placing business with Lloyd's Syndicates and Company Insurers, and also handling claims. His background has been predominately in professional indemnity insurance, but he also arranges Directors and Officers (D&O) cover, crime (including computer crime), packages for financial institutions (PI, D&O and Crime / BBB), cyber insurance and tech E&O, "traditional" Property and Casualty business, life science packages and clinical trials coverage, M&A / transactional risks, and standalone intellectual property insurance.
Recently, Paul was involved in setting up Sartorex Group Ltd as an independent Lloyd’s insurance broking firm offering a boutique firm service to a select client base, and also providing wholesale broking services to brokers that do not have direct access to the Lloyd’s Market, and specialist London Market Insurers.
In his thirties Paul took some time out from the Market to study law, including insurance law, IP law, and commercial dispute resolution electives. This has allowed him further specialist contract law and insurance law knowledge to support clients, and assist with complex claims matters.
Paul has been quoted in the professional insurance industry press on numerous occasions, and has also written articles published in professional journals on various types of insurance. He also been a guest speaker at a number of conferences about risk and insurance, most recently in Brussels in October 2022 at a conference arranged by leading international insurance law firm CMS and attended by representatives from numerous global corporations.
